Daegu Art Museum – Until Oct 18, 2020 South Korea
DAEGU – The Daegu Art Museum exhibits works by German artist Tim Eitel. That capture the loneliness and anxiety of modern people. At a time when the art scene of the city of the south-east is waking up. After being the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic here earlier this year. Presented as a prominent member of the new Leipzig school. Eitel portrays people and spaces that are easily overlooked in everyday life. The exhibition “Untitled (2001-2020)” presents some 70 of Eitel’s paintings. Exhibited in the 11 galleries of the museum. This is the largest solo exhibition of the German artist. He was unable to visit Korea due to the coronavirus outbreak. Instead, he watched the setup process during video calls. He left a video message for his Korean audience.
