German graphic designer renowned for his figurative and expressive paintings. The art collection includes 13 large oil paintings. Baselitz performed using a “contact printing” technique. Using black and gold paint to create a striking contrast. The artist uses a stencil to make a bold but gently inverted silhouette on the canvas. The result not only highlights the use of the medium on imagery. But it also causes a feeling of freedom and unpredictability. A nod to the idea of the moving human framework.
