First major monographic exhibition devoted to a major figure in contemporary American sculpture. Charles Ray (born in Chicago in 1953, currently lives and works in Los Angeles).

The Bourse de Commerce–Pinault Collection is also dedicating an exhibition to the artist, designed in close collaboration with the Center Pompidou. These two events offer complementary perspectives in a work that engages both mind and body, and constantly questions the viewer: “what is a sculpture?”.
